Maclean’s Magazine recently released their Canada’s Most Dangerous List. Port Hope ranked first in fraud with most nationally and here we go again…
This morning (Feb 13) just before 10 am, a male entered the Royal Bank on Jane Street in Port Hope, approached a teller and presented a note indicating it was a robbery.

They are also in the process of checking surrounding surveillance cameras.
There were no physical injuries to staff members or other persons in the bank.
