The Northumberland Community Futures Development Corporation continues to play a pivotal role in the Innovation Plan for Eastern Ontario.
Kim Rudd, parliamentary secretary to the Minister of Natural Resources and MP for Northumberland-Peterborough South, made an announcement at Victoria Hall on Wednesday night that will benefit innovation ventures in Northumberland County.
The total project cost will amount up to $1,520,000, converting and transforming a pre-exisisting, available 30,000 sq. ft. site into a state-of-the art technology centre.
This investment will help create up to 72 new full-time jobs and business expansion for up to twenty firms over two years.
