The Northumberland Agri Food Fund Pilot Program was announced Tuesday afternoon in Cobourg by Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Natural Resources and Member of Parliament for Northumberland-Peterborough South, Kim Rudd.
Northumberland Community Futures Development Corporation (CFDC) are excited to support the local business development pilot program initiative with an investment of $50,000 under the Eastern Development Program’s Business Development stream, with a total project cost of up to $150,000 towards the Food Fund Pilot Program.
The investment will enhance growth of the existing agri food business. The Pilot Program has a goal to attract and support up to 10 projects that focus in the local business sectors of agriculture.
