The Trent Hills Chamber of Commerce is objecting to changes for the sake of changes.
Director Jeff Hamilton says their goal is to warn the goverment against potentially altering Ontario’s Labour Relations Act.
He adds that depending on what the reform is, there is a chance it could affect the bottom line of consumers and businesses.
The Trent Hills and the Ontario chambers of commerce have sent a letter to Premier Kathleen Wynne. They’re cautioning that these reforms may have unintended consequences impacting job creation and competitiveness.
