Two search warrants resulted in drug-related charges in Cramahe Township.
Northumberland OPP say that on Friday (Mar 27) members of the Peterborough/Northumberland Community Street Crime Units, OPP Emergency Response Team and the Provincial Joint Forces Cannabis Enforcement team were part of the search.
Police say the search was of two adjoining properties on County Road 2, west of Brighton.
An extraction lab was found on the property, and police say Cannabis derivatives worth approximately $124,000 and $50,000 in cash was seized.
51-year-old Ronald Forget of Cramahe Township has been charged with altering or offering to alter the chemical or physical properties of cannabis by using an organic solvent, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and possession of illicit cannabis.
Forget was released from custody with a court date scheduled in June.
