A seven foot albino boa constrictor is on the loose in Port Hope.
On Saturday (June 5) morning around 8:30 am, Port Hope Police were alerted by people in the community that the snake had been reported missing from a Greenwood Tower residence.
According to the owner the snake is very domesticated, partially blind and poses no threat to the public.
Port Hope Fire Department assisted by doing a thorough scan using a heat detector of the apartment and the walls with negative results.
