Port Hope residents are being advised of some lengthy road closures starting next week.
The Rose Glen Road Reconstruction project will begin on Monday, June 20, and is scheduled to last approximately five months.
According to the town, this project has long been a requested by many residents over time.
Rose Glen Road, Ward Street to Croft Street will be closed to through traffic, and Croft Street to Phillips Road, will experience partial lane closures during working hours.
As well, Bus Stop B12 at Peacock Blvd., west of Scott Court will not be in service. Transit users can board the bus at Stop B13 (Peacock Blvd and Quinlan Drive) as an alternate
The work includes new traffic signals at Croft Street and Rose Glen Road, and a multi-use path for cyclists and sidewalk for pedestrians.
