Two people have died after a plane crash in Port Hope.
Northumberland OPP say around 8:50 on Saturday night, a Cherokee Piper aircraft had crashed into a field in the vicinity of a private airstrip by Kellogg Road and Massey Road.
The two occupants, 74-year-old Alvin Crosby and 72-year-old Suzanne Parent, both of Ottawa, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The OPP have since cleared the scene and Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) are continuing the investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
