The annual pancake breakfast hosted by the Brighton Kin Club returns for Applefest weekend on Saturday, September 24th from 8:00 am to 11:30 am.
The Kin Club will be set up on Veteran’s Way (between Memorial Park and CIBC branch) in downtown Brighton, cooking homemade pancakes and sausage. Breakfast also includes, coffee, juice or tea. Their pancake breakfast is $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for children.
“After missing 2 years due to Covid,” said Allan Simpson – Brighton Kin Club member. “We are very excited to be back – looking forward to seeing folks who come out to support this event every year!”
The Kin Club, previously known as the Kinsmen/Kinette Club have a long history with Applefest. They along with other area service clubs in Brighton started this now 2 day event almost 20 years ago!
The pancake breakfast is a fundraising event for the Kin Club.
“We donate 95% of the funds we raise back to this community,” added Simpson. “The other 5% goes to our national commitment for help fight cystic fibrosis.”
Don’t miss the annual Applefest Pancake Breakfast hosted by the Brighton Kin Club. The homemade pancakes are always great and served by Kin Club member volunteers. The money raised goes to great local causes and cystic fibrosis which is a rare genetic disorder that affects mostly the lungs, but also the pancreas, liver, kidneys, and intestine.
