Only 365 days until we celebrate the next one!
The Best Western Inn was the backdrop for 2023’s United Way Campaign Celebration. As locals enjoyed their celebratory breakfast, United Way announced that the 2024-2025’s goal would eclipse the previous year’s fundraised total and then some.
The organization’s goal for this campaign is just short of 1-million dollars at $955,000. During the last campaign, United Way said Northumberland came together to raise over $870,000 for their vital community programs.
United Way Executive Director, Alicia Vandine, says that this year’s theme is “A Legacy of Caring,” a theme that, “speaks to the lasting impact of United Way in Northumberland County.” Director Vandine continues, “Our organization remains committed to supporting our community, providing vital resources and assistance to 1 in 4 people in our county who rely on United Way-funded programs and services each year. As we start our 55th year, we are grateful to all those who have been there through the years, to support this work and our generous donors who continue to believe in the work of United Way and support our campaign each year.”
