From April to June, the Ontario Ministry of Health is recommending certain residents who haven’t received a COVID-19 vaccine in the last six months to consider getting the XBB COVID-19 vaccine.
This group includes individuals aged 65 and older, residents of long-term care homes, people 55 years and older who identify as First Nations, Métis, or Inuit, and anyone over 6 months old who’s moderately to severely immunocompromised due to an underlying health condition or treatment.
Not sure if you’re eligible? Consult your healthcare provider for guidance.
Those who aren’t eligible right now are advised to wait for further instructions on receiving another dose closer to Fall.
Those eligible can receive your Spring dose at a participating pharmacy.
