Two people are facing charges following a bank robbery in Brighton last month.
Northumberland OPP say on May 25th a lone male entered the CIBC bank on Main Street and handed the teller a note demanding money.
The clerk complied and the suspect fled the scene in a truck.
The truck was found abandoned a short time later.
On June 7th, police arrested two suspects in connection with the incident.
A man and woman were arrested in the Havelock area, while in possession of a vehicle that had been reportedly stolen from the Halton Region earlier that day.
Officers also seized some items as a result of the arrest, including a stun gun, a collapsible baton and assorted break and enter instruments.
A 33 year old man, of no fixed address is facing a long list of charges, including Robbery, Theft of a Motor Vehicle and Possession of a Weapon.
A 29 year old Mississagua woman is also facing charges related to Possession of Weapons and being in Possession of Break in Tools.
