The Port Hope Arts Festival is coming up this Saturday (August 11) on the Town Hall Lawn & in Memorial Park, featuring a Juno Award Winner.
The Port Hope Arts Festival is observing its 15th anniversary on August 11 and will be a celebration of art, agriculture and community.
This free, outdoor event will feature a vendor market, live music and interactive activities.
The vendor market will feature 40 artists from across the region, with the Saturday’s Farmers’ Market vendors set up alongside until 3pm.
Shoppers can expect an eclectic offering of local food and a wide variety of original handmade products and try their hand at an assortment of interactive activities, including blanket fort exploring, origami making, painting with vegetables and more.
The entertainment lineup includes exceptional local talent, featuring Tanya Wills, Ted Staunton and Emily Burgess, with Paul James scheduled as the afternoon headliner.
Paul James is a Canadian cultural icon; he is a Juno Award Winner and a Maple Blues Lifetime Achievement Award Winner for Blues in Canada and has performed with Bob Dylan, Bo Diddley, and Mink DeVille.
