Local Food for Local Good are thrilled to be partnering up with an amazing series of events being offered over four weekends!
The Courtyard Summer Series will not only be fun but it will also raise funds for local community food projects and for the Town of Cobourg to help support the maintenance and improvement of the waterfront, as part of the new waterfront plan.
That was Nicole Beatty, Volunteer Exectuctive Director with Local Food for Local Good, an organization that focuses on food security in rural communites.
For 12 days in July and August, The Courtyard at The Cobourg Beach Canteen will be transformed into a licensed patio bringing people together to enjoy local drinks, live music, and fresh food and opening day is coming up this Friday.
Montana Desjardins and Lucas Cleveland, owners of the highly anticipated Fresh Market to open along Cobourg’ King Street known as The Market and Smør, as well as the Cobourg Beach Canteen, will provide the food for these incredible weekends.
