Todd Attridge would like to get involved in the community by serving as one of the Ward 1 councillors in Port Hope.
Attridge says that it was his move to the municipality last year that really spurred him to file his papers and run for council.
He adds that his background as a business consultant and work in economic development could be a real asset on council.
Attridge says that his top issues are with affordable housing to be able to attract new people and new businesses as well as getting Ward 1 and Ward 2 councillors to collaborate and co-operate rather than be divided.
The candidate also thinks that him being relatively new to the area is an asset as well because he can make decisions based on what is best for Port Hope since he’s fairly unbiased.
He’s one of 11 candidates running in Ward 1.
